Those who have first hand experience with pain and suffering can relate to other's pain and suffering in ways no one else can. God bless each soul that is in the middle of a period of suffering. May you emerge stronger, forged by your trial by fire. Your experience is valuable and when shared with others it lets them know they are not alone and like you they can make it through too.

I believe that. Makes me recall my little 3 year old's gravesite. My son was buried on Baby's Row. And nearby was a headstone that brought me comfort. It said "He was just a little Angel God lent me for awhile" 💕 I still think of him daily. How could I not? His name was RALLY. 💕

I was here early in 2021, then got "spooked". I am back because I want to live. I read a lot. I observe. I listen. I have faith in us.
I remember early on when I lost a job that involved intense targeting, threats and harassment. There was a woman who reached out to me who was new to the area and was looking for someone to have fun with. She caught me when I was fresh from that drama. I said to her look, I am sorry I can't be what you want me to be right now but this is my situation. She tried the happy, joyous and free talk with me. I had to stop her and explain I am going to be angry and negative for a few days, that is my process, so if you do not want to hear it, do not call here during that time. Well, I never heard from her again 😂, but I got over my situation after feeling all of it so I honor the process.

There is a theory, idea, noting..... whatever, that hell is not the fire and brimstone place w/ lava pits, (possibly no) 'circles' or levels, frozen river of fire, or any of that other traditional stuff.
Among some (quasi-)theological circles, and those who studied the darker tings in nature. Hell's more of a void, or a feeling of loss aside from itself being a (meta)physical domain with the same attributes ..... it's a wasteland.
And yes, one has their own 'personal' hell.
An inability to be present with negative emotion is the root of suffering; pain, discomfort and negative emotional states are a given in life, yet so many refuse to accept this and perpetuate their own suffering as a result by endlessly fighting against experiencing those emotional states. The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Trying to avoid negative emotional states is INSANITY! It's like going to war against a part of your own body; it will only lead to more pain, suffering and deeper emotional turmoil; which is where the anxiety, depression and addiction epidemics stem from; people trying to escape their negative emotions, to no avail.
If you knew there was no avoiding or escaping negative emotions (there isn't), how would you engage with them?
