I'm 20 miles from the Smith River Complex fire...most of my county is in a level 3. We had no power for 5 days. Been interesting, so glad i prep and know how to do things without power...no one else in my neighborhood can, so I was busy helping all of them.

Praying for rain for all the western fires... The thunderstorm that went thru last night dropped 1 minute of rain on us, that's it. SO disappointing. But, it isn't the season for rain here and won't be until October.
We could have used some of that Hilary rain!!!
It was intense here and then over as fast as it started. I was almost asleep and had to get up to go watch the show. Then someone said lightning started a fire about 2 miles from me. It fortunately was put out fast. Be safe and let it💧 rain
