I'm 20 miles from the Smith River Complex fire...most of my county is in a level 3. We had no power for 5 days. Been interesting, so glad i prep and know how to do things without power...no one else in my neighborhood can, so I was busy helping all of them.
God bless you and wow how awesome. You are an angel for them for sure. I just took a shower and we are ready for what comes this way. Sending prayers your way and for the fires to be quenched with a gentle rain.

Praying for rain for all the western fires... The thunderstorm that went thru last night dropped 1 minute of rain on us, that's it. SO disappointing. But, it isn't the season for rain here and won't be until October.
We could have used some of that Hilary rain!!!

It was intense here and then over as fast as it started. I was almost asleep and had to get up to go watch the show. Then someone said lightning started a fire about 2 miles from me. It fortunately was put out fast. Be safe and let it💧 rain
