I've been doing contracts for decades. One of the key tenets of a valid enforceable contract is the concept of Capacity, as in, are both parties in their right mind.

It's not possible that someone who just experienced a tragedy like this is in their right mind.

Any contract signed would be unenforceable. It's either void or voidable.

The agents preying on these people, there is no way they don't know this. The people experiencing this crap need to register complaints with the board of realtors.

And if the board of realtors does the right thing these agents will have their licenses suspended if not revoked. For the records - I am not counting on it, but documenting it would be a good thing to file suit.
