Good news! A global flood will not happen. In Gen 9:11, God promised this: "And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth." He also said in Ecc 1:4: "One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever."
