No, it was very well lit from the front of the flag.
He used the same flag one other time about a year, year in half ago.

Not that I could tell. The stars were actually black and not white that evening.

Agree, black stars, not white was what i saw too.
The blue with the stars also appears to be a separate piece of material. Just going on what I see in that shot. I'm assuming it's covering up the actual part of the flag that's normal.
