Nephew filled his truck at a small town station and went in to pay. They said they “only take credit”
He turned his phone to record, held up his cash to the camera and asked the clerk to take his money for the gas. They repeated the credit only. He said ok your loss. I offered to pay and you refused to accept. He walked out without paying because they wouldn’t accept paper bills. When he got to his truck the clerk ran out and said she talked to her manager and they would accept paper SHOCK!
We all make it a point to use cash almost always.
