I have mixed feelings about an edit feature. What stops someone from posting 'I love God' and getting a bunch of likes and then the poster changing it to "I love Biden'. Maybe edit but it will erase all the likes if you do edit? What do you think?
I really like having the edit button on Gab, but it's only used to fix grammar/syntax. Good point, that those with nefarious intentions could abuse this feature, so maybe a time-limited one, where it's possible to edit only for a short time after publishing a post & any existing "likes" are lost. Otherwise, a spellcheck would work too. None of these are essential requirements. I mentioned an edit button the other day in response to VK's post about needing a spellcheck. He was probably talking in code anyway... Vibe check, spell check... So many checks! 😂
