I sprained my hand (slammed it in the door of all things), and it is on fire today. I have tried everything I can think of and detest a doc.
Cold packs, Turmeric, splinting it (which caused even m ore pain).
I know there has to be something I can put on it.
Keep in mind I am diabetic.
Shoot me your ideas...
A few years ago my leg from my knee to my foot feel asleep. When I stood up I did not notice it. I took a step with that leg and fell like a sack of potatoes. My leg disjointed from my ankle and I bruised it badly. The pain was unbearable. I actually thought I broke my ankle. So, I used DMSO (pure form). I rubbed it on three times a day. On the third day I could walk normally. It completely healed. No more bruising, swelling, or discomfort. I bought some more from Tractor supply. You can get it in a liquid form or gel. I got the gel. It says it is for horses, but so what. It still works.

45 minute journey to a Tractor Supply, but I will keep this in mind if I cannot find the other solutions to help! TY!!! I have not heard of this one either!!!
You have any other farm and animal stores near by? They may have it. Some healthfood stores carry it. Here in NY the Health food stores stopped selling it.

Yes, I have a feed store nearby, that might carry it! I can stop today on my way home, after meeting friend with the arnica.

I looked into DMSO because my father n law had a bottle of it. I researched it and found a lot of info on it. Some reliable and others not. But you have to use discernment. He gave that bottle to my husband and I was the one who used it. I thought, fck it, it is worth a try. I am glad I did.

People need to understand that DE is not the pool DE. That one is poison. Food Grade DE is from a fresh water source, it is more pure then the Salt water DE source. Salt water source can have more arsenic in it. This one is usually used for the bug killer. If the DE says FOOD GRADE it is the fresh water source. So this one can be taken internally. This is what is put in flour to prevent bugs from growing in the flour.
Food Grade DE I have used as a powder instead of baby powder. Sometimes I get a rash during the summer. I use that DE and the itch is gone and the rash goes away. Is anti fungal, anti parasitic, and anti bacterial. It is also good for your bones, tendons, ligaments if taken internally.
