Letโ€™s take the indictment on face value.
President Trump brought things with him from the White House
when he was leaving the Presidency.
It doesnโ€™t matter if he took a sticky note
or 10k boxes of information.
PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS STILL GOING THROUGH
3 MILLION OF PAGES OF DOCUMENTS HE TOOK.
And it doesnโ€™t matter whatโ€™s in them either.
The same law would apply to him.
The Presidential Act is simple:
The President can take WHATEVER HE WANTS
when he leaves office.
Hereโ€™s the kicker:
it becomes part of his or her PERSONAL PROPERTY.
It transitions from being U.S. Government property
to the PERSONAL PROPERTY of the past President.
In the indictment you see a paragraph or 2
about how President Trump is speaking to his lawyer about options.
If you know President Trump
& Iโ€™m still a Senior Advisor & I talk to him frequently
he jokes all the time. Thatโ€™s his mannerism a lot... โค๏ธ
