As children we are afraid of the dark in our bedrooms and hallways. As adults, the darkness is inside, so we have to do shadow work, but are still afraid of the dark. It is easy to imagine that the darkness is driven out by focusing on lightness, but in reality the darkness is more often illuminated by dreams.

The last five years have been more like a dream than the dawn. The light has been in our imagination more than in the world.
