Absolutely true. A big advantage to homeschooling is the ability to take field trips, even teach outdoors. Allow kids to learn via natural curiosity. Have them touch things, see things, run, climb, hike, swing, etc.

The Waldorf education offers an environment for learning in nature. It is also known as Steiner education and is based on the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy.
My grandson has been going. It is expensive but it's fantastic.
