😥😥 I loved my mother so much, had her in my home for almost 2 years, she chose to go into assisted living, think she felt guilt in me taking care of her. Also, she didn’t accept help well, determined to take care of herself. Incontinence/dementia set in & she got kicked out of assisted living, next home was horrible. My sister & her daughter moved her out before I could find a better place. They moved her to her birthplace town nursing home which was far for me to keep tabs on her. Dr. & nursing staff upped her antipsychotic med for behavioral issues, which I never wanted her on so only allowed a very low dose. They upped it without my knowledge, only found out after they totally crippled her. She got neuroleptic malignant syndrome 😠 She could no longer eat by mouth so a PEG tube placed, got severe contractures of hands/feet so became chair bound. I was furious & wanted to sue, but experienced a total house fire; it destroyed all my documented evidence. (Cont.)

I was devastated & still cry & heart hurts to this day for what happened to my beloved mother. My relationship with my sister & her family got severed, my choice. 🙏🌹🙏🌹

I tell y’all this…. If I EVER find out my dad has been treated in this manner… I WILL BE GOING TO PRISON…. End of story

I cared for Dad at home 4 years, until he fractured his hip… I have to work… had no choice but to place him in a nursing home… and I HATE IT!

A pair of female staffers filmed themselves calling a vulnerable senior “embarrassing,” laughing and joking at her as she screamed, blocking her from going to the bathroom, in a vile case of elderly abuse in Florida.

Shy'Tiona Bishop and Jada Harris’ “disgusting” behavior led only to a $6,000 bond for both, with Bishop’s set at only $4,000 despite the range of offenses.

“Unfortunately, the state sets the bond limits when they’re first arrested. They don’t let us do it because I can tell you if they let me do it, the bond would be when hell freezes over when these two get out,” Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said after the couple’s arrest.

My father-in-law was in a motorcycle accident and lost a third of his brain. He became baby like and I took him in and cared for him in my home with my children.

My father had a battery replaced in his defibrillator and never fully came out of the anesthesia . I took him in my home too.

It was a very difficult time but I would do it all over again. Our parents take care of us and we need to take care of them when they need it most. That's just the way I feel.
God has blessed me for my deeds.

I hope this abuser is arrested. She deserves all she gets.

If that would have been my mother, I would have ki##ed that bitch. That's why my mother never went into a nursing home, I quit my job and took care of her myself.

Good for you and God Bless you....The stories of what happens to our elderly in these homes just makes you sick...My only hope is that what they inflict on other comes back to them ten fold!!!
