The vibration in my head (not my ears, I don't think) interrupts my quiet time. Had it for years.
I have been trying to find the tone/pitch. I identified the buzz in my head as the sound of the cicadas. It took me a few summers to figure it out.
I've NEVER seen or heard ANYONE mention cicadas!
Do you get them in winter?
I have had the ringing noise in my ears, since we moved to our current location in 2014...
We do not have cicadas but for about a month in Summer.

No. But there is still a tone in Winter. I think I finally found a tuning fork close to the sound!
