Ever wonder why some plants that grew abundantly were considered weeds?
Is it because of their actual benefit to us?
Take the DANDELION The first to bloom for early emerging insects. The whole plant has a myriad of health benefits
Each of its growth stages, a beauty to behold..

I have been preaching this for years! No one cares! They just laugh...

Me too! I’ve been drinking dandelion smoothies for years. Neighbor used to comment that I’m eating weeds 🤦‍♀️

When the violets come out I make a dandelion violet spring tonic but also drink fresh dandelion tea!

I remember a story my mother told me. My mother's family were poor and they use to go to neighbors houses and harvest the dandelions. They cooked them and ate them raw. No chemicals were used back then.

I'm 67. It was common, when I was kid, for people to gather the early dandelions greens to eat with meals! I make tea and when the violets are out I make a dandelion-violet spring tonic!
