Jesus spoke to his disciples:
“As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son of Man comes. For just as in the days before the flood they ate and drank and married and were given in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and no one knew what would happen until the flood came and took everyone away, so it will be when the Son of man is coming. Then two will be working in the field, one of whom will be taken and the other left behind. Of two women who are grinding at the millstone, one will be taken and the other will be left behind. So be alert, for you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Remember, if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief would come, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into.
