I have had to endure years of “virtual exile” as “the British face of QAnon”. Part of me just shrugs my shoulders and accepts it as far preferable to waking up as a poisoned sheep and discovering the shepherd is a wolf. But it is a very strange and quite difficult experience. I no longer get The Times or The Sun newspapers reaching out for quotes, but that spotlight might be turned back on you at any moment.

My only crime is doing real journalism and philosophical analysis. If you want to comb over my personal life, it’s messy, but nobody got hurt. I have had mixed feelings about 2023 arriving. The reconciliation I seek also puts me back into one of the most exposed roles on the battlefield. Character assassination might leave your body intact, but life in tatters.

The pressure is unrelenting, and few (even close and awake friends) understand quite what I am carrying. If I say anything elsewhere than AU it is taken as boasting or moaning. Just documenting it for posterity.

We are who we are today BECAUSE of what we went through, did, caused etc. Let the weight of the past go its not only okay for us all to do this it is necessary to be able to enjoy the now. I love the beautiful pictures you capture and your words on paper a like a song. Thank you for your honesty as even in your struggles now you are continuing to help us all with your word songs 🎵 ❤️
