If you think you are a god then belief in any God is equivalent to (ego) death, and will be resisted as such.

Progressives.

I agree.

But we were all created in God’s image. God’s image? Omnipotent, omniscient, creator, unconditionally loving.

We were created to be capable of all of these things (and more), but we must evolve and grow into these capabilities. The story of the Garden of Eden and “the Apple” is about being exposed to KNOWLEDGE (about our potential) BEFORE we grew into it and EARNED the right to access our God-given capabilities.

God did not create us to be weak, dull, powerless slaves. Those who have been enslaving us - who have NOTHING like our potential - know this, else they wouldn’t be trying so hard to stop us from 1. remembering who and what we really are, and 2. realizing our true (God-given) potential.

Are we “gods” - LOL no…not yet. But being created by God in His own image means that we have all of what He is as a potential version of ourselves. At every point in our ascension we will begin to access greater and greater abilities. We are the off-spring of God.
