I have not had any tooth work since 2001, but, I clench my teeth at night and one broke about 4 months ago - but its not sore, so I am holding off getting a crown, until it does hurt.
Been pretty healthy myself, only a thyroid issue from cancer in 2004. Otherwise I go to the dr once a year for my annual thyroid meds.
Drinking well water, and consuming very little processed food, eat a lot of soup/stews and reduced meat intake to once or twice a week. We have our own hens, egg dishes a couple of times a week, and lots of veg out of the garden in the freezer. So we are doing what we are able.
I do not trust dentists either, I think they are sibject to the same pressures as drs. not so much from drug cos but the periodontist equipment, and procedure companies.
The dentist I go to has a tooth printing machine, but it costs TWICE what a lab made crown would be... but, they can prep, make and fit it in 2 hours.

i just want to mention to watch the tooth becsuse you dont want it turning into a root canal scenario.

I've had several fillings dope out over the last 4+ yrs and a gum boil which I've been keeping down by rubbing Bicarbonate of soda on it several times a day.
I'm in the UK and not registered with a dentist any more. But keep putting off talking to the new dental surgery not far from me, 'cause there is this little voice, that keeps whispering to me to 'hang on if I can - I'm not in any pain AND There are Much Better/Safer 'Healing Methods'... on the way, Soon-ishšš

I cannot do too many nuts, as they give me kidney stones... very painful, but I like all the fruits and veggies (except advicados, cannot stomach them).
I can't quite make it to vegeterian/vegan... maybe down the line. I kinda look at it as everything in moderation.
The dental hygenist has said I have the teeth of a 35yr old, so cannot say I'm too bad on the dental side, despite the break.
