It was absolute sh*te to live through, but as historical judgements go, that would be one of the better ones.
Also completely paradoxical. “Fought for peace” by holding the line and keeping the 2A armaments holstered, sticking to 1A methods only.

Used to say in an epigraphical way "The pen is mightier than the sword, especially if it came from James Bond's pocket!" as a young essay scribbler.
But far more realistic is the reality that everything we're subjected to is coming at and down on us because of "words" and speaking, and contracts, and codes, and on and on with insurmountable heaps of documents around and making up everything in this realm. One has to just glance at any bill introduced to see it nearly needs hand trucked in by the box full of printed paper reams!
People, please do read and write far more. Moses wrote the law, Jesus spent his ministry arguing the law, the actual court and law process is mentioned literally multiple times in Jesus' teachings, Jesus himself said he did not come to eliminate the law but to fulfill it, and the Jews had him executed by Law. Leading us to today where we're bound and choked to death today by overgrown, out of control, courts, commerce, and LAWS! Better learn some law!
If the truth shall kill them, let them die. Always learning & growing so never the same. Merely a humble student & no master.
