Nana has made no secret to my dislike of chickens because of having to work in the chicken barns my entire childhood, but DAMN, a carton of eggs at the store today was over $7.50!!!

🤬If I did not need them for some cooking receipes I would just stop eating them and stop buying them rather than getting chickens.🤬

Gonna need a local neighbor supplier, need some alternative.
Hell every week I go back to the store many of the prices have doubled.

Most Americans are going to be doing without and cant afford to buy basic foods.

I'm on my third flock in 20 years. I don't buy eggs.... but won't you reconsider raising them for eggs again?

They got them where you can tote them around the yard now....js. Fancy.....just pick it up, and move it when ya want....fren has one...says make enough for her lil fam. NOW I got a cousin that lives in the mountain and she is the queen of wild chickens....she is like their fookin leader. lol

🤣👍 I have 25 hens. My pals. Each hen needs a minimum 3 sq. ft./hen in space. Their coop is 16x40 with a run. They are FUN.

I think mama said my Aunt Karen has a pet chicken. lol

My mama said my aunt karens, "comes up to her just like a dog or cat would" lol Sits on her lap, all that. lol

They compete to see who I will carry first. 😁 You start when they are hatchlings and they always remember you. They remain docile then. Less likely to peck at you.

She said it is cool to watch their lil chicken hierarchy and all....she studies them...lol
