I know 20 years is a long time, but the Musk of today has a different facial structure, jaw line, eyebrow and nose shape.
Unless he also had plastic surgery... but I'm not sure why he would do that, as his looks are not his brand.

They talk of 15 years... one has to wonder when he was replaced...I alwats liked his stance on islam - 'no thanks', and
I have to admit, that when Turkey was stirring the pot in Syria, in 2017, (Erdogan fancies himself caliph in Europe) their masters wanted war between Russia and the US, on a Syrian battlefield, Putin handled the situation brilliantly - he laughed them off.
I became a supporter if him at that point.
He is Russia's Trump, and his people genuinely seem to like having him in power.
We can only hope for somewhat the same outcome in the US.
