These are sad times, the last days before mass awakening. Never again will we see comedy as black as with the fanatical ideologue intoxicated on their own intellectual hubris. They think they are laughing at us, but they don't know the joke is on them, and we've read ahead in the script.
"Dark to light" humour is just a loss we will have to mourn.
