I grew up having a Father as a commercial Bee keeper. Some of my best memories are riding in his bee truck listening to Tracy Chapman.
My garden today, bee's are loving Spring as much as I am🐝
I would love to get a hive.

Do you have a local apiary? They sometimes are looking for a place to add hives. Ours here will pay rent in honey.
Thanks for the tip, I know of a few bee keepers in town and will ask them :)
Only reason I havent looked in to it in the past is because my dogs tend to catch spicy sky raisins and one is very allergic to their stings and I was worried a hive would mean so many more around and well, it is such a design flaw they die once they sting, I dont want bee's dying because of my dogs.
As a kid I would always try to catch them lol Did you know they have five eyes?
