It will hurt more than help if she runs as an independent.
👆And I think THAT is the exact point. My son said he heard her talking about protecting constitutional rights, he rolled his eyes and said " yet she's been a proponent of gun control". Definitely a case of saying what moderates want to hear. *Feels like* the beginning of a run as independent splitting the swing votes.
