Yes you can, it is always our choice to make, perhaps what MvA is referring to is Karma credits, and blessing our enemies.
If we can get to a point to not really wish harm on them, but rather just bring them to justice & turn them over to God with zero angst then we receive the blessing.

Exactly! Forgiveness is for your healing not for them. A hard lesson to learn but so basic and simple to live with. I am an empath and trust me when I say for me it was absolutely essential for me to keep going.

God will handle things in his own way for sure. Sometimes we have to distance ourselves from some people who refuse to be anything but self destructive to themselves and others. Some people refuse to be good decent neighbors in our communities. It was never supposed to be about every man for themselves or do your own thing regardless of whom it hurts. We were always in this together. We don't have to play with those who don't play nice. It is our duty to punish those that would do harm but we are not supposed to enjoy it or wish pain and suffering upon them . Justice does not have to be cruel but it has to be done. Some can not be allowed to go on and will require a death sentence. Prison or fines will never work for those stupid enough to take "that" oath from the father of all lies. There may be hope for the rest and those are the ones I try to wake. Be blessed in every day, My friend.
