xrays of the entire body. Two sonograms. one of organs, other of thyroid. they havent found a solid lump. only the swelling of her lymph node. goes away completely with antibiotics.

If it’s an infection it should go down with the antibiotics, what are the gonna do the needle aspiration for

the infection goes away with antibiotics but after a week off of them..the infection returns. i read an article that sometimes if they get a bacterial infection..it can take months to get rid of and a long period of use with antibiotics.....but the needle aspiration has the vet convinced it is highly likely to be cancer.

true, which is why they probably need to do it to get a sample and send for cytology
