How you all doing? Friends in Florida OK?

Morning: 2 small trees knocked over, but hope to salvage them later with ropes. Palm tree lost about 20 branches. Pine tree ripped holes in back porch screen, standing puddles everywhere, lake is full to brim, but this is the first time we kept electric on my street during a hurricane (but only because it is the same line as the hospital nearby). But most everyone else in town is without electric right now. Flood warnings from rain & high winds. Family in Vero Beach is flooded out first floor of their home. Yards are a disaster from debris & branches. Last night we kept having things hit the roof, & it caused big thunks & crashes from branches flying around.

Last night the wind howled all night. Hard to sleep.

It looks better in the light of day today, but it is still too windy and rainy to go outside.

Our weather station in the back yard shows we got 8 inches of rain.

No photos cuz we are not going outside yet. Still too windy and raining too hard.

Sigh...is it Fry Day

Was thinking about you CM... we weathered it fine here in Ft Laud...praying for our Fam/Frens in path of direct hit..🙏🙌
