Has anyone else ever wondered if we're in a dream and, at some point, we wake up?

Yep i have pondered on that. Like a futuristic dream of whats to come if humans dont change direction.
Actually, I just wonder if I'm in a dream and will wake up and my whole life was a dream. I don't know what my life is when I wake up. It reminds me of The Newhart Show when he wakes up and is back in bed with the wife in his first sitcom series and his second sitcom life was all a dream. I think it was one of the best endings to a show ever - totally unexpected.
