Flying is NOT a good idea, considering all the problems with planes failing due to cutting costs by using cheap materials. A nice drive is relaxing, stop where you want, see a lot of things. My last few trips were all by car.

I have only been to two islands but want to visit many of them. I was back in Greece only 3 times and one was very short for an emergency, since I left, but I still have lots of family there including my son who was born here in the states but went to Greece and loved it so much that he made it his permanent home. Yep, my restaurant was also in NYC. The illegals saved their money and traveled home every year or 2 years and brought their cash to their families.
