1996 book includes themes of cloning, genetic engineering, super soldier program and a fictional company called Genetico. Eight identical individuals in this "techno thriller". I read it last night; an engaging story.

Seems like a timely read.

This was a good book about the people and events leading up to the Theranos trial. What I learned:

The fraud was really only considered "worthwhile" once the investors took a hit--nobody seemed to care that patients were given questionable test results at best, dangerous at worst.

We have similar cancer blood tests and soon multi-cancer early detection tests (MCEDs) may be available. Will these be any more accurate or safer, and will we only find out if there is some financial fraud and investors lose?

I read my first A.J. Cronin book, A Pocketful of Rye yesterday. Davos is part of this story, the plot takes place in Switzerland. At one point, there is reference to R.C. Churches. That jumped out at me because we remember Robert C. Christian is the pseudonym associated with the Georgia Guidestones. Both are R.C.C.
