The order of succession doesn't work like that. When the Queen's father died it wasn't his wife that took the throne it was his daughter. It goes down to the next generation so William then his children.

As Twitter bans users who criticise vaccines maybe this isn't representative of the whole country although no doubt some will say this is justification for passports anyway.

This is just an attempt to persuade younger people to get vaccinated. It has nothing to do with reducing number of cases as over 60% of those hospitalised with Covid in UK are fully vaccinated anyway.

Not in my experience fear of the virus though. Everyone I know got it because they feared that without it life wouldn't get back to normal, that they would be unable to travel overseas or go to gigs/festivals.
