giving birth to CIA.

President Reagan signed EO 12333, Dec 1981
extending powers of U.S. INTEL Agencies,
directing leaders of U.S. Fed agencies to cooperate fully w/CIA
EO 12333 titled United States Intelligence Activities.

President GW Bush signed EO 13470, Aug 2004
amending EO 12333 strengthening the role
of the Dir of National Intelligence.
