Nobel Laureate Dr. OttoWarburg H. has dedicated his life to the study and cause of the disease cancer. Otto Heinrich Warburg processes in cell respiration and various enzyme systems. Having shown that cancer cells change their metabolism to anaerobic metabolism he formulated the unconfirmed hypothesis that cancer cannot grow in an oxygen-rich environment. Among his students, the most illustrious is Hans Adolf Krebs, who also won the Nobel Prize in 1953.
