I would've guessed it was the hot coals and brimstone dropping from Nancy Pelosi's flight over the Pacific to Taiwan.
The newscaster called it a scene from the Twilight Zone and they played the music. Didn't VK just make a twilight zone post about the NYC water?
These lights were witnessed over the Pacific ocean water.
More interesting to me was the news report saying some people thought it was the red lights to an UPSIDE DOWN realm. Maybe we are in the upside-down realm and the ocean is the doorway back to the right-side up realm. "?"
