Why do you think it is that the United States(4.96) has a murder rate closer to Argentina(5.32), Cuba(5.05) and Kenya(4.93) than to, say, Canada(1.76), Germany(0.95), Norway(0.47) or Japan(0.26)?
What makes you think laws surrounding guns couldn't possibly be a part of that explanation?
