I have the same reaction - maybe some folks were dumb enough to vote for said tyrant (sigh), but a lot of these have been rigged for a long time

I was suspicious of the voting machines before they even came to the podunk district where I vote - especially since I'd been voting "third party" candidates for a while & knew there were others equally fed up with the D vs. R shenanigans, but the numbers with the third party candidates seldom if ever rose 🧐
