Think about this:
Jesus was half mortal and half immortal.Je inherited his immortality from Heavenly Father and mortality from Mary. Je was able to die at his command amd be resurrected 3 days later.
Would his children, if He had any, have a fraction of immortality with in them?

believe the Gospel; immortality guaranteed, but not physical. Only spiritual; the physical body is dissolved at death, regenerated into new spiritual body.

That’s what ministers and preachers teach. Jesus was resurrected with his original flesh and bones body. He body was not in the tomb on the third day. Christ has the power to create (organize matter) as in creating the earth, he has the power to call matter back to our human bodies again. Christ healed bodies to work again in their proper function (example-eyes). We will receive our original bodies again, but in perfect form in the resurrection.

e.g. Thomas was absolutely confused, when seeing Jesus; needed convincing.

i do agree, in the spiritual body, we will be recognizable, however, no food will be needed, therefore, the spiritual body is totally different, as it will be able to change location,at the speed of thought, e.g. Jesus instantly moved location, after resurrection.

that is what the bible refers to as spiritual bodies, it is not the physical body, e.g. even some of the disciples, were puzzled, when he appeared to them after resurrection. Recall the Bible verses: that which is flesh is flesh, and that which is spirit is spirit. The bodies are not the same, or redone, they are totally different.

So where did Christ’s body that was laid in the tomb go? The tomb was empty.
