I had a very strange experience nearly 2 hours ago. I no longer have cellular service. I did a grocery delivery for someone. When I arrived, it was very strange. A man in a police uniform was standing outside in what seemed to be a large gravel ”driveway” / area / parking lot. I’m usually happy to see an officer but instead I had a creepy vibe and mentally second-guessed his uniform. He was stoic, guarded, and the vibe seemed very secretive. I realized that I lost cell service as I left the “house” (which he described as church-looking in his messages). I didn’t understand why I lost service. I drove all around town and restarted my phone a multitude of times. When I came home, my partner said he cried a little when I was gone because he had a terrible feeling about my safety. After I described what happened, he said it sounded like a drug or trafficking operation and that they must have had cell-jammers or EMPs because my signal is still fried. Not sure how to handle the situation.

I looked up the address. It’s a “safe haven homeless shelter.” With what happened to my phone, I hope they are all safe.
