My husband is caring for an old horse that was abused/neglected for years, really rough shape. This profound relationship is showing him who he is, opening his heart in miraculous ways. Like a mother with a newborn, nursing day and night, week after week, after months... conscious loving sacrifice teaches us who we really are. Horses are incredible, wise, knowing, patient, loving. So much to learn from/with them.
