Beyond The Walls.
Remember Lost Horizon? Hollywood always shows the truth in the movies. After a plane crash, a group of survivors cross the ice and find beyond it warm and fertile lands, a true paradise. Note that a song in the movie says that the earth is a circle (not a sphere). Check the lyrics:

I Have That DVD! The Musical Version Is one of My Faves This was what I thought of when I Saw This , about Antarctica! Wonder if there is a Real Shangrala?
