usually a docket has to work its way through the lower courts. unless its a shadow docket.

I heard that they were trying to move the justices around and secure their protection before they reveal the ruling. It was said that the military were protecting all justices, except for Roberts who is being protected by NATO. That is very weird, but the person thought it was because he is a bad actor, and maybe the military didn't want to protect him. He didn't really know the reason.
