And I said, β€œHere am I. Send me!" πŸ•Š

My dad started feeling really bad last night, started sweating out of nowhere then popped a fever, spent all night at the ER with my mom, they say he's tested positive for Covid, he had an operation to get a stint put into his kidney because he's been passing stones. Now he's in bed writhing in pain and crying I've not seen him cry since I was a young teenager. I'm worried, so please pray for my family. πŸ™πŸ€

Serah, I'm sorry your dad is going through this. Stones are painful, but so is stent surgery. Is he home, or still at the hospital? Keep a close eye on his vitals and pain levels. If he gets a fever or more pain, take him back in right away, ok?

They now have lasers to bust the stones. D-Mannose daily is easier than cranberry juice. A life without dairy is necessary, and tons of water. Just some advice from back when I had stones. Did they put him on an antibiotic? If so, make sure he has acidophilus.

Prayers for your dad, you, and family.πŸ™πŸ’™ I hope he heals and is pain free soon. Blessings.

He's home resting, they didn't give him anything as far as I'm aware. I'll send the dietary info to my mom to help her out. Thank you so much for your prayers πŸ™πŸ€

I don't know anyone who had stones who didn't have a UA and/or kidney infection. Hmm.
