You DO know that the Oval Office has NEVER been Open to the Public, right??? You actually have to be a VIP, Dignatary or Invited by te President to go to the Oval Office
The logic in proposition is unsound. It is assumed that the President's seat of power of course would be closed to personnel that not specifically designated to visit or enter the grounds.
To confirm your proposition that this has ALWAYS been the case, one would have to prove that previous searches for directions to the Oval Office returned the same response (Permanently Closed).
This is NOT the case.
Previous directions to the Ovsl Office, when queried on Siri or Google maps, gave working hours, telephone number, & instructions to the Visitor Center.

You STILL have to know someone to get in in to see it, same as the Situation room, and yes, I know this from a family memeber who was part of the staff during Obama
Administrations are all different. The pronouncement that you know someone from the Obama administration is irrelevant. the fact is that when searching on the various applications, the result was NOT "Permanently Closed.". The Situation Room is another irrelevant matter: a SCIF where sensitive operations take place is not even advertised. The Oval Office does not fall inder this rubric. while ot still may not reflect reality, the FACT is that previous searches never came back with "Permanently Closed." Who you claim to know is a non-sequitor: it is irrelevant and an appeal to authority.
