The first major cruise ship operator begins installing Starlink 🛰🛳

Royal Caribbean Group, the world's second-largest cruise ship operator, plans to provide passengers with Starlink Internet from SpaceX. An application has already been filed with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for permission to use Starlink satellite internet on its liners.

Cruise ships have held satellite internet for a long time, but its speed is monstrously slow and the price can make even billionaires weep.

Starlink will solve both of these problems.
