Makes you wonder...
I'd never seen a circumzenithal arc until 12-21-12. The sun was about to set in the SSE. But the arc wasn't perpendicular to the sun, but parallel. I have a few photos somewhere. They're common, but the location (high in the sky) and angle were odd.
