Dave on X22 reported that many today do not understand the original meaning of "well regulated". He said it meant trained. The idea being that the people were to be well trained and proficient with their arms, so they could form a militia as needed.

Anti-gun People have tried to bend this to say only a Militia or National Guard should have weapons.
