To be clear, Christianity stems from a much older religion that became Christianity as a method of conquering the world.
In it's true form, it was an infinitely more enlightening religion.
The trick of Christianity is the same as the trick committed by the rest of the system - it is just beneficial enough to make people like it, but not beneficial enough to truly set you free.
I do believe this will come out in the awakening. Jesus, great character, but not real, and the story obscures a far more enlightening message.
