This time is different because this time when we hit that sweet spot of technology God sent Big Beings and Angelics to outsmart them by tearing the game apart piece by piece. Because the matrix was too much of a captured operation to beat them by playing the game, the only way to win is to end it by destroying a piece at a time to the brink & start over.
While they were trying to systemactically detroy things like the family unit and motherhood, Q was structually ending parts of the system in essence.
