In our town, the council voted in putting huge electrical lines on County road 11. All the people tried to get them not to vote for the power lines for the dangers especially to children. The council members voted it in anyway. Most people along that road moved. But the council members had enough money to buy really nice houses and more. We watched it all.
That was the early 2000’s. We have been fighting corruption for a long time.
